This bulletin is being issued to revise the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement procedure in the Antilock Brake sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
- Disconnect the electrical connector at the electronic brake control module.

| Fittings, Brake Pipe - Master Cylinder (Qty: 2)
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
Tighten 27 N·m (20 lb ft)
Tip
• | Cap the brake pipe fittings to prevent fluid loss and contamination. |
• | Finger tighten the brake pipe fittings before tightening to the final torque specification. |

Tighten 18 N·m (13 lb ft)
Tip
• | Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent fluid loss and contamination. |
• | Finger tighten the brake pipe fittings before tightening to the final torque specification. |

Tip DO NOT separate the BPMV from the electronic brake control module (EBCM) until out of the vehicle on a work bench. |

Tighten 3 N·m (27 lb in) |

| Module, Electronic Brake Control (EBCM)
Tip
• | If equipped with a brake fluid pressure sensor, connect the electrical connector. |
• | Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling. |
• | Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding. |
• | Perform the automated bleed procedure. Refer to Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure. |
• | Perform the system check - vehicle. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle. |
