Coolant Leak at Upper Radiator Hose - keywords clamp cooling HVAC heat

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some 2006 Cadillac DTS and 2006 Buick Lucerne equipped with a 4.6L V8 engine and built prior to 01/12/06 may experience a coolant leak at either end of the upper radiator hose.

Replace the upper radiator hose. Do not attempt to repair by tightening, re-aligning, or replacing the hose clamp.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
