The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment their front seat headrests do not articulate as described in the vehicle owner manual
Recommendation/Instructions:
Not all vehicles feature a 4-way articulating headrest. The feature is standard in the Preferred Equipment Groups 1SD (called Luxury II for '07, Lux III for '06) and 1SE (Performance). A 2 way (up/down) headrest is standard on all others (1SB, 1SC, W20, V4U, B9Q).
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
