Removal Procedure
  1. Locate the proportioning valve under the vehicle.
  2. Remove the proportioning valve from the brake lines.
  3. Plug the brake lines to prevent excess fluid loss.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the proportioning valve into the brake line.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the proportioning valve fittings to 15 N·m (11 lb ft.)

  2. Bleed the brake system as necessary. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
