The buttons on the climate control panel (CCP) control the fan speed operation. When the AUTO button is selected, the blower fan operates automatically based on the various inputs to the system.
When the top arrow of the fan control is pressed once, the following actions occur:
• | The blower fan speed increases slightly. |
• | The CCP displays HI AUTO. |
The blower fan operates automatically, similar to the AUTO setting, except at slightly faster speeds.
When the fan button is pressed twice, the following actions occur:
• | The fan runs at a fixed rate of speed. |
• | The CCP displays HI. |
This is an override of the automatic fan speed control.
When the lower arrow of the fan control button is pressed once, the following actions occur:
• | The blower fan speed decreases slightly. |
• | The CCP displays AUTO LO. |
The blower fan operates automatically, similar to the AUTO setting, except at slightly slower speeds.
If the fan button is pressed twice, the following actions occur:
• | The fan runs at a fixed low rate of speed. |
• | The CCP displays LO. |
This is also an override of the automatic fan speed control.
A second blower motor is provided in the console in order to aid in the year-round comfort of the rear seat passengers. A slide lever on the rear of the console controls the operation and the speed of the console blower motor.
