Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
  2. Remove the stationary window. Refer to Rear Window Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 320071  Size: MH
  4. Remove the 10 fasteners (2).
  5. Remove the upper reveal molding (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 320071  Size: MH
  1. Install the upper reveal molding (1).

  2. Object Number: 320073  Size: MH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Hold the molding tight to the door frame while installing the screws. Ensure that the plastic nuts do not pop out of the door frame.

  3. Install the 10 fasteners.
  4. Tighten the fasteners in the proper sequence shown in the illustration.

    Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Install the stationary window. Refer to Window Replacement - Door Vent .
  6. Install the window run channels. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
