Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement DeVille

1. Open the front and rear doors.



2. Remove the fasteners (3) retaining the roof rail weatherstrip (1) to the door opening.
3. Remove the 4 push-in fasteners retaining the weatherstrip (2) to the front door opening (1).



4. Pull the roof rail weatherstrip from the pinchweld flange (2).

Important: If the butyl tape is damaged or removed on the pinchweld flange (2), replace the tape.

1. Starting at the upper corner of the rear door opening, install the 4 push-in fasteners.
2. Press the roof rail weatherstrip onto the pinchweld flange (2). Move toward the front of the vehicle.



3. Install the fasteners (3) in order to retain the weatherstrips (1) to the door opening.
