  1. Close all of the passenger compartment doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  3. Wait 5 seconds.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

The following components are operational for approximately 10 minutes:

    • The radio
    • The rear compartment lid release
    • The fuel door release
    • The power windows
    • The cellular phone (if equipped)
    • The sunroof (if equipped)
    • All RAP controlled components do not operate. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control Systems.
    • The radio does not operate. Refer to Radio/Audio System Check in Entertainment.
    • The rear compartment lid does not open. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Release System Check in Body Rear End.
    • The fuel door does not open. Refer to Fuel Filler Door Release System Check in Body Rear End.
    • The cellular phone does not work. Refer to Cellular Telephone System Check in Cellular Communications.
    • Sunroof does not operate. Refer to Power Sunroof System Check in Roof.
    • The power windows do not operate. Refer to Power Windows System Check in Doors.
