  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the sunroof control module connector C2.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Close the sunroof.
  5. Measure the resistance between connector C2 terminal 8 (RED) and terminal 1 (YEL).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 2

  1. Open the sunroof.
  2. Measure the resistance between connector C2 terminal 8 (RED) and terminal 1 (YEL).

Is the resistance equal to the specified value?

Infinite (OL)

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

  1. Test CKT 132 (RED) and CKT 133 (YEL) for an open.
  2. Ensure that the sunroof control module connector C2 is clean and tight.
  3. If the connector is OK, replace the sunroof actuator. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Measure the resistance between connector C2 terminal 8 (RED) and ground.

Is the resistance equal to the specified value?

Infinite (OL)

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the sunroof actuator. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Ensure that the sunroof control module connector C2 is clean and tight.
  2. If the connector is OK, replace the sunroof control module. Refer to Power Sunroof Express Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Test CKT 132 (RED) for a short to ground.
  2. If CKT 132 is OK, replace the sunroof actuator. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement
