Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  1. Open the doors.
  2. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  4. Remove the retainer clip from the recliner motor end of the recliner shaft.

    5. Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  5. Slide the recliner shaft out of the recliner motor sensor (outboard side) far enough to clear sensor.
  6. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector from beneath the seat .
  7. Release the sensor from the recliner gear drive case.
  8. Remove the sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  1. Install the recliner sensor onto the recliner gear case (snaps into place).
  2. Slide the recliner shaft back through the sensor and gear case.

    3. Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  3. Install the retaining clip onto the end of the recliner shaft.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
  5. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  6. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  7. Inspect the operation of the seat.
  8. Close the doors.
