Hood Emblem/Nameplate Replacement DeVille

1. Open the hood (2).
2. Remove the large nut (4) from under the hood panel.
3. Remove the following components:

•	The washer

•	The spacer (3)

•

The seal

4. Remove the stand-up ornament (1).

1. Position the stand-up ornament (1) to the hood (2).

Align the tab on the ornament (1) to the notch on the hood panel.

2. Install the following components:

•

The seal

•	The spacer (3)

•	The washer

3. Install the nut (4).
4. Close the hood (2).

Hood Emblem/Nameplate Replacement ETC

1. Open the hood.



2. Remove the large nut (4) from under the hood panel.
3. Remove the washer (3) and the seal (2).
4. Remove the stand-up ornament (1).

1. Position the ornament (1) to the hood.

Align the tab on the ornament (1) to the notch on the hood panel.

2. Install the seal (2) and the washer (3).
3. Install the large nut (4).
