Power for these relays is provided by the body control module (PZM) through connector C2 terminal C16.
The exterior lamps are commanded on for at least 300 ms and the PZM determines that CKT 352 (WHT) is shorted to ground for at least 2 consecutive monitoring cycles.
The PZM commands the exterior lamps OFF and then attempts to turn the lamps back ON every 1200 ms.
• | The exterior lamps are commanded ON and PZM does not detect the condition for 2 consecutive monitoring cycles. The DTC changes to history. |
• | A history DTC clears after 50 consecutive ignition cycles if the condition is no longer present. |
The PZM has a non-serviceable, surface-mounted fuse. The fuse may open if CKT 352 (WHT) is shorted to ground.
