SUBJECT: PROGRAMMER EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR 1992 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES

For the 1992 model year, the Cadillac Eldorado and Seville HVAC programmer is now a core return part. Normally a failed HVAC programmer should be returned to GMSPO for core charge credit, however, the following instructions apply to these parts until further notice.

The core charge administrative allowance and freight can be added to the reimbursement of dealer expense warranty claim per DSIB 92-1-44.

Prompt parts return will enable Delco Electronics to perform failure mode analysis and implement any appropriate corrective action in a timely manner.
