SHAKE OR VIBRATION IN FRONT END (REPLACE ENGINE MOUNT)

SUBJECT: EXCESS SHAKE OR LOOSE FEELING IN FRONT END

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES

Some 1992 Eldorados and Sevilles before the following VIN breakpoints may experience a condition of shake or vibration in the front end on smooth roads or excess shake or vibration in front end on rough roads. The shake or vibration may be most noticeable through the steering wheel.

1992 Eldorado/Seville VIN Breakpoints:

Cadillac Eldorado ........................ NU622816 Cadillac Seville ........................... NU827863

This condition may be caused by an internal leak in the engine hydra-mount.

To repair this condition replace the engine mount with P/N 22113023 on Cadillac Eldorados and Sevilles.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation J1500 at 2.4 hours.
