CHANGES TO HOOD & STRUT USAGE 2ND DESIGN PARTS COMPATIBILITY

SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON CHANGES TO HOOD AND STRUT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 "E/K" MODELS

Part number changes for hoods and struts were put into effect for 1992 Cadillac Eldorado and Seville, starting with vin's 611273 and 814520 respectively. Due to part changes, and in the event that a hood must be changed on a vehicle, the hood struts must also be changed to match.

The part changes are as follows:

Hood:

P/N 3535130 replaced by P/N 3537063 - Eldorado

P/N 3534314 replaced by P/N 3537064 - Seville (Without T46)

P/N 3534664 replaced by P/N 3537065 - Seville (With T46)

Hood Struts:

P/N 3529456 replaced by P/N 3537090 - Eldorado

P/N 3529455 replaced by P/N 3537091 - Seville/STS

NOTE: Use Labour Time Guide for repair time allowance.

Parts are currently available from CANSPO.

For vehicles repaired under warranty use:
