SHAKE OR VIBRATION IN FRONT END (REPLACE ENGINE MOUNT)

SUBJECT: SHAKE OR VIBRATION IN FRONT END ON SMOOTH ROADS (REPLACE ENGINE MOUNT)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 "E/K" MODELS

CONDITION:

--------- Some 1992 E/K models before the following VIN breakpoints may experience a condition of shake or vibration in the front end on smooth roads or heavier shake or vibration in front end on rough roads. The shake or vibration may be most noticeable through the steering wheel.

1992 E/K VIN Breakpoints: ------------------------ Cadillac Eldorado NU622816

Cadillac Seville NU827863

Buick Riviera NU408285

Oldsmobile Toronado NU305065

CAUSE:

----- This condition may be caused by an internal leak in the engine hydra-mount.

CORRECTION:

---------- To repair this condition replace the engine mount with P/N 22113023 on Cadillac Eldorados and Sevilles and with P/N 22113021 on Buick Rivieras and Oldsmobile Toronados.
