Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
2. Press and release the ENG/MET switch.

Does the MPH indicator and then the Km/h indicator illuminate after each switch activation?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Install a scan tool.
2. Press the ENG/MET switch.
3. With a scan tool, observe the Dis. English/Metric Sw. parameter in the IPC Input for Analog Dash data list.

Does the Dis. English/Metric Sw. parameter display On?

Go to Step 4

Go to Driver Information Center (DIC) Switch Inoperative

Replace the instrument cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

--

Go to Step 5

--

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

--

System OK
