Removal Procedure
- Remove the headliner in order to access the upper drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the tie straps securing the front drain hoses to the drain spouts.
- Disengage the drain hoses from the drain spouts on the sunroof module.
- Remove the interior window garnish moldings in order to access the front drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the front drain hose (2) from the retaining clips (1) on the "A" pillar.
- Remove the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
- Disconnect the drain hose grommet from the inner wheelhouse panel.
- Remove the front drain hoses from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the front drain hose to the wheelhouse panel.
- Clip the front drain hose (1) into the retainer clips (1).
- Install the drain hose to the drain spouts.
- Secure the drain hose with new tie straps.
- Secure the drain hose and grommet into the inner wheelhouse panel.
- Install the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
- Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the interior garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
Important: When installing the drain hose tie straps, position the tie straps in order to maintain clearance between the tie straps and the headliner.
