Info - Replace Existing Rear Bumper Fascia Brackets When Installing Trailer Hitch

This bulletin is being issued to inform technicians that when they are installing a trailer hitch on vehicles built prior to the VIN breakpoint shown above, they will also need to order P/N 25774084 (quantity of 2) and replace the existing fascia support brackets that attach the fascia to the bumper beam. Refer to the instruction sheet supplied with the trailer hitch for detailed installation instructions.

Important: The trailering capacity of vehicles without RPO V92 (trailering provisions) is limited to 454 kg (1,000 lb). Vehicles with RPO V92 have a trailering capacity of 1588 kg (3,500 lb). Remind customers to refer to their Owner's Manual for important information if they are planning to use their vehicle to tow a trailer.
