This bulletin is being revised to inform dealerships that the 4.4L LC3 supercharged V-8 engine program for the 2007 model year has ended. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-06-01-033 (Section 06 -- Engine/Propulsion System).
The engine exchange program for the LC3 4.4L supercharged V8 engine has ended. It is no longer necessary to contact the PQC prior to doing any work on the LC3 4.4L V8 engine. Technicians should use SI for normal diagnosis and repair procedures. The PQC must still be called for authorization of engine assembly replacement.
