Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 105020  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear suspension support assembly. Refer to Support Replacement

  2. Object Number: 333143  Size: SH
  3. Remove the electronic level control height sensor link from left control arm.
  4. Remove the stabilizer link bolt.

  5. Object Number: 105034  Size: SH
  6. Remove the hub and bearing, if necessary. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement

  7. Object Number: 105029  Size: SH
  8. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the control arm to the rear suspension support assembly.
  9. Remove the control arm.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 105029  Size: SH
  1. Install the control arm to the rear suspension support assembly.
  2. Important: The control arm nuts should be tightened with the vehicle unsupported and resting on the wheels at the normal trim height.

  3. Install the bolts and nuts.

  4. Object Number: 105034  Size: SH
  5. Install the hub and bearing if necessary. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement

  6. Object Number: 105020  Size: SH
  7. Connect the ABS electrical connector.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the stabilizer link bolt and nut.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the stabilizer link bolt nut to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  11. Install the electronic level control height sensor link on left control arm.
  12. Install the rear suspension support assembly. Refer to Support Replacement .
  13. Lower the vehicle to obtain trim height.
  14. Tighten the control arm nuts.
  15. Tighten
    Tighten the control arm nuts to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
