J 22124-B Pressure Gage (0-300 psi)

  1. Disconnect the height sensor electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the air line from the RH air lift shock, and connect it to the J 22124-B pressure gage port on the toggle valve side of the gage.
  3. Attach the single straight air line adapter from the J 22124-B pressure gage port on the side opposite the toggle valve, to the RH air lift shock absorber connector. Open the toggle valve.
  4. Apply air pressure at the schrader valve. Pressurize until the J 22124-B pressure gage reads 690 kPa (100 psi). Both rear air shock sleeves should inflate. If they do not, check for kinked or pinched air tubes. Replace any air tube assembly that is kinked or pinched shut.
  5. Check the following areas using soap bubbles:
  6. • Both rear air shock absorbers for leaking air sleeves, or leaks between the shock dust tube and sleeve (under the air sleeve clamp ring). Replace the rear air shock if leaking.
    • All air tube connections. If leaks are found, tighten connections or replace air lines as required.
  7. Remove the J 22124-B pressure gage and air line adapter. Connect the air line to the RH air lift shock.
  8. Connect the height sensor electrical connector.
