Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 332511  Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  3. Remove the two yaw rate sensor mounting nuts.
  4. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the yaw rate sensor from the mounting studs.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 332511  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the yaw rate sensor onto the mounting studs.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the two yaw rate sensor nuts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  5. Perform the Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check .
