Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 1998 🢒 Seville 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Blower Motor Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 130672 Size: SH

    Object Number: 291175 Size: SH
  2. Remove the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the dash integration module (DIM) from the bracket. Lay aside the DIM.
  4. Remove the two rear dash integration module bracket screws.
  5. Push downward on the dash integration module bracket to gain access to the blower control module.

  6. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (2).

    7. Object Number: 284241 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the blower control module electrical connector.

    8. Object Number: 292019 Size: SH
  8. Remove the blower control module retaining screw (1).
  9. Remove the blower control module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 292019 Size: SH
  1. Install the blower control module.
  2. Install the blower control module retaining screw (1).

    3. Object Number: 284241 Size: SH
  3. Connect the blower control module electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 292059 Size: SH
  4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (2).

    5. Object Number: 291175 Size: SH
  5. Reposition the dash integration module bracket to its original position.
  6. Install the two rear dash integration module bracket screws.
  7. Install the dash integration module to bracket.
  8. Install the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    9. Object Number: 130672 Size: SH
  9. Install the right sound insulator.
