Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 1998 🢒 Seville 🢒 Restraints 🢒 SIR 🢒 Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.

    2. Object Number: 291660 Size: SH
  2. Remove front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove lap retractor cover.
  4. Remove seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
  5. Remove rear seat belt post cover.

    6. Object Number: 295170 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect heated seat cushion electrical connector or air lines and electrical connectors for adaptive lumbar.
  7. Disconnect the harnesses from the seat bottom.

    8. Object Number: 295182 Size: SH
  8. Turn seat over and remove seat cover J retainers from seat bottom.
  9. Remove the power seat switch knobs. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  10. Remove the power seat switch cover plate. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

    11. Object Number: 334248 Size: SH
  11. Remove the nuts retaining the seat bottom to the adjuster frame.
  12. Remove the power seat switches. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  13. Remove the bottom by lifting front of bottom up and pulling forward to release the rear retainers.

Installation Procedure
  1. Engage the rear seat bottom studs to the seat adjuster frame.
  2. Lower the front of seat bottom to install the power seat switch.

    3. Object Number: 334248 Size: SH
  3. Install the nuts to the seat bottom studs.

    4. Object Number: 295170 Size: SH
  4. Connect heated seat cushion electrical connectors or air lines and electrical connectors to adaptive lumbar.
  5. Reattach the harnesses to the seat bottom.
  6. Install the power seat switch assembly. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 295182 Size: SH
  7. Engage the seat cover J retainers onto adjuster frame.
  8. Install the power seat switch trim plate. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  9. Install the power seat switch knobs. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  10. Install the lap retractor cover.
  11. Install the rear seat belt post cover.
  12. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .

  13. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  14. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
