    • Damage
    • Obstructions
    • Correct installation of CDs

Are the CDs and magazine OK?

Repair or replace the CD changer, CDs, or CD magazine as needed.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the CD changer.
  2. Disconnect the radio amplifier C1.
  3. Inspect CKT 327 (BLK/WHT) for an open or short to ground or power between the CD changer terminal 3 and the:
    • Radio amiplifier C1 terminal B2 (W/UX8)
    • Radio amplifier C1 terminal B7 (W/UX9)

Was an open or short found?

Go to Step 5

Repair the open or short in CKT 327 (BLK/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 368 (DK GRN/WHT) for an open or short to ground or power between the CD changer terminal 2 and the:

    • Radio amplifier C1 terminal B1 (W/UX8)
    • Radio amplifier C1 terminal B6 (W/UX8)

Was a short or open found?

Go to Step 7

Repair the open or short in CKT 368 (DK GRN/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 367 (BRN/WHT) for an open or short to ground or power between the CD changer terminal 1 and the:

    • Radio amplifier C1 terminal B3 (W/UX8)
    • Radio amplifier C1 terminal B5 (W/UX9)

Was a short found?

Repair the open or short in CKT 367 (BRN/WHT).
