1. Disconnect each TV Antenna.
2. Check each TV Antenna for an open condition with a DMM.

Do any of the TV Antennas have an open?

Repair or replace the faulty TV Antenna.

Is the replacement complete?

1. Disconnect the Navigation Display Module connector C1.
2. Measure the voltage between cavity 3 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C1 and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Go to step 5

Go to step 6

Measure the voltage between cavity 4 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C1 and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Go to step 7

Go to step 8

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 1801 between cavity 3 of the Navigation Display Module connector C1 and cavity 1 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly connector. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Navigation System Check

1. Disconnect the TV Antenna Module Assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance between cavity 1 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly harness connector and cavity 3 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C1 with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Go to step 9

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 1849 between cavity 4 of the Navigation Display Module connector C1 and cavity 2 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly connector. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Measure the resistance between cavity 2 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly harness connector and cavity 4 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C1 with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Go to step 11

Repair the open in circuit 1801 between cavity 1 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly connector and cavity 3 of the Navigation Display Module connector C1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the TV Antenna Module Assembly. Refer to Television Antenna Module Replacement in Body Rear End.

Repair the open in circuit 1849 between cavity 2 of the TV Antenna Module Assembly connector and cavity 4 of the Navigation Display Module connector C1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
