- Turn ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the cruise control module connector.
- Turn ignition switch to ON.
- Turn cruise control switch ON.
- Connect a DMM between cruise control connector terminal C and
ground.
- Depress and hold the R/A switch.
Is the voltage within the specified range?

- Turn ignition OFF.
- Disconnect the cruise control switch connector.
- Connect a fused jumper across cruise control switch connector
terminals B and D.
- Turn ignition ON.
- Connect a DMM from the cruise control module connector terminal
C to ground.
Is the voltage within the specified range?

| Repair open CKT 87 (GRY/BLK).

- Check the cruise control switch connector for poor terminal contact.
- If OK, replace the cruise control switch. Refer to
Cruise Control Switch Assembly - Pivot and Pulse
in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

- Check the cruise control module connector for poor terminal contact.
