Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel.

- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough
edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce
the chance of personal injury.
- Remove the rear stationary window. Refer to
Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement
.
- Locate the window clamps (2) on the regulator and loosen the bolts.
- Remove the window (1) by pulling it up and out of the door assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Install the
window (1) down into the door assembly.
- Install the rear stationary window. Refer to
Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement
.
- Locate the window into the two clamps.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Connect a power
source to the window motor and run the window to the full up position.
Tighten
Tighten the window clamp bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
- Install water deflector. Refer to

.
- Install door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Check the window and door controls for proper operation.
