Removal Procedure
- Lower the window half
way down to gain access to the window retainer clamp bolts (1).
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Loosen the window retainer clamp bolts.
Important: It may be necessary to use masking tape to hold the window into place
while removing the regulator.
- Slide the window to the full up position.
- Loosen the two captured bolts (2).
- Remove the three remaining bolts (3).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
- Slide the window regulator upward to release the two captured
bolts from the keyhole slots.
- Remove the window regulator.
Installation Procedure
- Install the window regulator
into the door.
- Locate the two captured bolts (2) into the keyhole slots.
- Slide the regulator downward to engage the two captured bolts.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the three
remaining bolts (3).
Tighten
Tighten the window regulator bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Connect the window motor electrical connector.
- Slide the window down into the window retainer clamps.
Tighten
Tighten the window retainer clamp bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
- Install the water deflector. Refer to

- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
