Was the entire Heated Seats System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the heated seat switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from battery positive voltage (B+) to the heated seat switch cavity B.
  3. Connect a fused jumper from ground to the heated seat switch cavity D.

Did the high heat LED light?

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the front heated seat module connector C1 or the rear door module connector C1.
  2. Perform the appropriate procedure:
  3. • Front: Connect a DMM from the front heated seat module connector C1 cavity F (GRY) to the front heated seat switch connector cavity A (LT BLU) (LH) or (TAN) (RH).
    • Rear: Connect a DMM from the rear door module connector C1 cavity 12 (BLK/WHT) to the rear heated seat switch connector cavity B (BLK/WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Is the inoperative LED for the front seat?

Replace the front heated seat module. Refer to Heater Module Replacement .

Is the front heated seat module replacement complete?

--

Replace the rear door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the rear door module replacement complete?

Go to Heated Seats System Check

Replace the heated seat switch. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console or Rear Heated Seat Switch Replacement in Doors.

Is the heated seat switch replacement complete?

Repair the suspect wiring:

    • LH front: CKT 1661 (GRY and DK GRN).
    • RH front: CKT 1685 (GRY and YEL).
    • LH rear: CKT 1638 (BLK/WHT).
    • RH rear: CKT 1635 (BLK/WHT).

Is the circuit repair complete?
