Battery Positive Voltage (B+) is supplied to the Navigation Data Processor at the connector C1, terminal 5, CKT 3240 (ORN). The Navigation Data Processor monitors this voltage to determine if it is within a valid operating range.
The Battery Positive Voltage (B+) drops below 10 volts for more than approximately 1 second.
• | Stores a DTC B1327 in the Navigation Data Processor memory. |
• | The Navigation Data Processor will not respond to any manual or memory inputs when the voltage is lower than 10 volts. |
• | No driver warning message will be displayed for this DTC. |
• | The Navigation Data Processor switch failure and position sensor failure DTCs will not set while DTC B1982 is current. |
• | The Battery Positive Voltage (B+) rises above 10.5 volts for approximately 1 second. |
• | Use the On-Boards clearing DTCs feature. |
• | Use a scan tool. |
This DTC may set when the Navigation Data Processor connector is loose or corroded.
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
Determines if the malfunction is present.
Checks that a false DTC was not set.
Determines whether the malfunction is in the charging system or the Navigation Data Processor.
