The engine block heaters are used to preheat the engine for cold weather starting. The engine block heaters operate from a 110-volt AC power source and uses two heating elements installed to both sides of the engine block. The heating elements warm the engine when the heater cord is plugged into an AC power source.
The unit has a detachable electrical cord. If the heater fails to operate, check the cord connections and power supply before replacing the heating elements.
