  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
  2. Turn the blower speed to LOW.
  3. Disconnect the blower motor connector and measure the voltage between terminal A and terminal C at the blower control module.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

6 V

Go to Step 2

Reconnect the blower motor connector.

Does the blower motor run on high speed?

Go to Step 3

System OK

Replace the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor and Fan Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

Is the repair complete?

Measure the voltage at terminal C of the blower control module input.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

4-5 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the blower control module. Refer to Blower Motor Control Module Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

Replace the instrument panel integration module. Refer to Instrument Panel Module Replacement in Body Control Systems.
