Disconnect the dash integration module (DIM) connector C1.

Do the daytime running lamps (DRL) turn off?

Disconnect the underhood fuse block connector C2.

Does the DRL turn off?

Remove the DRL relay from the underhood fuse block .

Does the DRL turn off?

  1. Disconnect the underhood fuse block connector C1.
  2. Remove terminal A9 from the underhood fuse block connector C1.
  3. Reconnect the underhood fuse block connector C1.

Does the DRL turn off?

Repair the short to battery positive voltage (B+) in CKT 1200 (PNK) between the underhood fuse block and the LH high beam headlamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the underhood fuse block . Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement in Wiring Systems.

Is the underhood fuse block replacement complete?

Replace the dash integration module (DIM). Refer to Dash Integration Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the DIM replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the DRL relay in the underhood fuse block.

Is the relay replacement complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Repair the short to battery positive voltage (B+) in CKT 691 (GRY) between the underhood fuse block and the rear compartment relay center. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the dash integration module (DIM). Refer to Dash Integration Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the DIM replacement complete?

Connect a DMM from the DIM connector C1 cavity A4 (LT GRN/BLK) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Replace the DRL relay in the rear compartment relay center.

Is the relay replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
