Backprobe the hazard switch assembly connector with a DMM from cavity G (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Backprobe the hazard switch assembly connector with a DMM from cavity G (ORN) to cavity J (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Replace the hazard switch assembly. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement .

Is the hazard switch assembly replacement complete?

Check the rear fuse block TSIG/HAZ Fuse for an open.

Is the TSIG/HAZ Fuse OK?

Go to Step 8

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1740 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the TSIG/HAZ Fuse.

Is the fuse replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1740 (ORN) between the rear fuse block and the hazard switch assembly. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in CKT 450 (BLK) between the hazard switch assembly and S210. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Go to Step 10

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
