  1. Remove the PRK LP relay from the rear junction block.
  2. Disconnect the dash integration module (DIM) connector C3.
  3. Backprobe with a DMM from the rear junction block connector C1 cavity A4 (YEL) to the DIM connector C3 cavity H (YEL).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 5

  1. Disconnect the splice pack connector C302.
  2. Connect a DMM from the DIM connector C3 cavity K (YEL) to the splice pack connector C302.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 6

  1. Disconnect connector C304
  2. Connect a DMM from connector C304 cavity A8 (YEL) to cavity B7 (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

2.5 - 13 V

Replace the dash integration module (DIM). Refer to Dash Integration Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the DIM replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 32 (YEL) between the rear junction block and the DIM. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL) between the DIM and C302. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Go to Step 13

Connect a DMM from connector C304 cavity B7 (BLK) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 350 (BLK) between connector C304 and ground G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 350 (BLK) between connector C304 and splice S318. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?
