Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Disconnect the underhood lamp connector.
2. Place the headlamp lamp switch in the PARK position.
3. Connect a DMM from the underhood lamp connector cavity A (YEL) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Connect a DMM from the underhood lamp connector cavity A (YEL) to cavity B (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the underhood lamp. Refer to Underhood Lamp Replacement .

Is the underhood lamp replacement complete?

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 32 (YEL) between the rear fuse block and the underhood lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Go to Step 7

--

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the underhood lamp and G101. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

--

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

--

System OK.
