  1. Disconnect the hazard switch assembly connector.
  2. Connect a DMM from the hazard switch assembly connector cavity B (DK GRN) (LH) or cavity D (LT GRN) (RH) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Disconnect the hazard switch assembly connector.
  2. Connect a DMM from the hazard switch assembly connector cavity K (LT BLU) (LH) or cavity H (DK BLU) (RH) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Replace the hazard switch assembly. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement .

Is the hazard switch assembly replacement complete?

  1. Disconnect the turn signal switch connector C202.
  2. Connect a DMM from the turn signal switch cavity B3 (DK GRN) (LH) or cavity B2 (LT GRN) (RH) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt.

Is the turn signal switch replacement complete?

Repair the short to battery positive voltage (B+) in CKT 1428 (DK GRN) (LH) or CKT 1427 (LT GRN) (RH). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the short to battery positive voltage (B+) in CKT 14 (LT BLU) (LH) or CKT 15 (DK BLU) (RH). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?
