Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Disconnect the LH rear door module (LRDM) connector C1.
2. Disconnect the LH rear power window switch connector.
3. Disconnect the LH rear power door lock switch connector.
4. Disconnect the LH rear heated seat switch connector (with KA1).
5. Connect a DMM from the LRDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 6

Connect a DMM from the LRDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to the LH rear power window switch connector cavity 5 (YEL/BLK).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 7

Connect a DMM from the LRDM connector C1 cavity 10 (BLK/WHT) to the LH rear power window switch connector cavity 4 (BLK/WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 8

Replace the LH rear door module (LRDM). Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the LRDM replacement complete?

Go to Step 9

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK) between the LRDM and S700. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

--

Repair the open in CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) between the LRDM and S701. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

--

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

--

System OK.
