Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the lower air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.

  3. Object Number: 105166  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the horn connectors (1) from the horns (2).

  5. Object Number: 105158  Size: SH
  6. Remove the bolts retaining the horns (1) to the body.
  7. Remove the horns (1) from the body.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 105158  Size: SH
  1. Install the horns (1) to the body.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts to retain the horns (1) to the body.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  5. Connect the horn connectors (1) to the horns (2).
  6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
