DEFINITION: All of the heated mirrors are inoperative on one side of the vehicle.

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the front door module connector C4 at the malfunctioning location.
2. Using a digital multimeter (DMM), measure the resistance between the front door module harness connector C4 terminal 4 and terminal 8.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

2.5-20ohms

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the malfunctioning front door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Test CKT 267 (BLK) for an open or a short to ground.

Is the circuit OK?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Test CKT 9089 (BLK) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair the open or the short to ground in CKT 267 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Repair the open in CKT 9089 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the malfunctioning power mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
