The power sunroof (option CF5) is electronically operated from the following switches:

    • The power sunroof switch
    • The power vent switch

The switches are located in the overhead console. When you depress the sunroof switch to the first detent rearward, the glass panel slides rearward until the switch is released. Depressing the sunroof switch to the second detent rearward causes the glass panel to slide to the comfort stop position. Depressing the switch again causes the glass to slide fully rearward into the storage space between the roof and the headliner. Depressing the sunroof switch forward causes the glass panel to move to the closed position.

When you depress the vent switch rearward while the glass is in the closed position, the rear edge of the glass will raise to the vent position. In order to close the glass from the vent position, depress the vent switch forward.

The sliding panel is designed in order to allow controlled water entry at the seal. There are four drain hoses. One drain hose is located at each corner of the sunroof housing. The drain hoses provide drainage. Proper glass panel adjustment should result in a snug fit between the following components:

    • The seal
    • The roof

Inspect the seal by inserting a business card between the roof and the seal. Maintenance of this minimal gap is essential in order to prevent the entry of more water than the sunroof drains are able to handle. Adjust the glass panel height in order to complete all of the glass panel-to-roof adjustments.
