When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
Condition/Concern:
04 4.6 LH2 engine squeal noise heard during an idle at the rear main seal area .
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the PCV fresh air side connection at the airbox for a restriction, possibly flashing in the airbox fresh air connection. This concern is easily verified by pulling the engine oil fill cap as the noise will go away with the fill cap removed. Be sure the PCV fresh air tube is completely clear.
