When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

The battery in both the XLR and the Corvette are top post flooded style batteries. The original battery for both of these vehicles is the 86-6yr and the replacement is the 86-7yr.

As these batteries are interchangeable in either of these vehicles, should one or the other be unavailable for any reason, please order the battery which is available to expedite the repair.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
