Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

1. Turn ON the ignition.
2. Buckle the driver seat belt.

Is the fasten seat belt indicator inoperative?

Go to Seat Belt Indicator Circuit Malfunction

Go to Step 3

Turn the headlamps ON.

Are the headlamps ON?

Go to Step 4

Go to Interior Lighting Systems Description and Operation

Open the driver door.

Does the driver information center (DIC) display DOOR AJAR?

Go to Step 5

Go to Door Ajar Indicator Description and Operation

Replace the body control module (BCM). Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 6

Replace the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
