Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seats in Seats and Carpet.
- Remove the recliner trim cover. Refer to Recliner Covers in Seats
and Carpet.
- Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser in Seats
and Carpet.
- Unhook the J and arrow retainer from the bottom of the seat cushion
cover.
- Remove the bolts securing
the buckle side belts from the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the buckle side
belts (1) from the seat.
- Remove the bolt securing the mini-buckle (2) from the seat cushion
frame.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bolt securing
the mini-buckle (2) to the seat cushion frame.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the buckle
side belts (1) to the seat.
Tighten
Tighten the mini-buckle bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).
- Install the bolts securing
the buckle side belts (1) to the seat cushion frame.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).
- Hook the J and arrow retainer to the bottom of the seat cushion
cover.
- Install the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser in Seats
and Carpet.
- Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to Recliner Covers in Seats
and Carpet.
- Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seats in Seats and Carpet.
