1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
4. Using the scan tool, check for any DTCs in the body control module (BCM).

Does the scan tool show any DTCs?

Go to Step 3

Turn the park lamps ON.

Do the park lamps function properly?

1. Remove the inoperative lamp.
2. Inspect the filament.

Is the lamp open?

Replace the lamp.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp from terminal A to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Inspect TRL PRK LPS fuse in underhood fuse block. Is fuse good?

Locate and repair CKT 2109 (BRN) for an short to ground between the lamp and the underhood fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair CKT 2109 (BRN) for an open between the lamp and the underhood fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

Locate and repair CKT 1650 for an open to the G402 ground.

Is the repair complete?
