Was the Headlight System Check performed?

Go to Headlight System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
4. Using the scan tool, check for any DTCs in the body control module (BCM).

Does the scan tool show any DTCs ?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System

Go to Step 3

1. Move the headlamp switch to the ON (HEAD) position.
2. Place the multifunction switch to the LOW BEAMS position.
3. Connect a test lamp from CKT 525 (YEL) between the underhood fuse block connector C4 terminal A2 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair open in CKT 525 (YEL) between the underhood fuse block connector C4 terminal A2 and the headlamps low beam terminal B.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

Connect a test lamp from CKT 525 (YEL) between the underhood fuse block connector C1 terminal E8 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to step 7

Go to step 6

Replace the underhood fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

Connect a test lamp from CKT 525 (YEL) between the flash to pass relay terminal 87A to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair the open in CKT 525 (YEL) between the underhood fuse block connector C1 terminal E8 and the flash to pass relay terminal 87A.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

1. Remove the flash to pass relay
2. Connect a test lamp from terminal 87A to terminal 30.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 10

Replace the flash to pass relay.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the flash to pass relay terminal 30 and ground G110.

Is the repair complete?
