Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 308156 Size: SH
  1. Remove the plastic grommets that retain the license plate bracket to the front bumper.
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front Bumper Fascia.
  3. Remove the bolts that retain the license plate bracket to the front bumper fascia.
  4. Remove the license plate bracket from the front bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 308156 Size: SH
  1. Install the license plate bracket to the front bumper fascia.
  2. Install the bolts that retain the license plate bracket to the front bumper fascia.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws that retain the license bracket to the front bumper.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the Front License Plate Bracket Bolts to 9.5 N·m (84 lb in).

  4. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front Bumper Fascia.
  5. Install the plastic grommets that retain the license plate bracket to the front bumper.
